Chewy. Male, terriër, owned by outlet Marleen. Beau en Chewy are not compatible. When Beau was a puppy Chewy fiercely dominated him. Even a fight with strands of hair flying up in the air could not stop his attempts at dominace despite the fact that Beau grew out to be more than five times his weight. Beau does not meet Chewy any more as he is no longer part of the outlet group: his joints prevent him from playing intensely with other dogs.
Dana. Female, American bull terrier living along the same canal. Beau sniffs her and her front door intensely every day.
Fedde and Foeke. Two females, cross-breeds of labrador, and dutch kooiker and friese stabij , they live around the corner. Fedde always lies down to let Beau sniff her and Foeke usually barks at him.
Luna. Posthumous. Female, has grown only four years old, Canadian white shepherd lived in the same appartment building. Beau knew her from puppyhood. When he walked along her balcony he sat down to look up or through the basement window. When Luna spotted him she liked to go outside to lick his mouth and play with him.
Luuk. Femalie border collie, living one block away. She moves every second and is everywhere at the same time. As Beau could not keep track of her he reacted grumpy at her in the beginning. Now as he is older, he simply lies down and lets her dance her way around him. She always greets him passionately.
Thomas. Male, cross-breed with doberman pincher, joins the oulet group of Marleen. Beau and Thomas fought one another fiercely for the number one position in the group. They were not wounded and coexist momentarily. They do not play together.
Wappie. Female, Saint Bernard, rescued from a pet shop in Thailand. Lives further down the road. Beau smells her from a far and always looks at her home when passing by. When possible he waits her up in front of her door and finds her whenever she is strolling in the neighbourhood. Wappie likes to lie down on her back to give Beau the opportunity for a good sniff.
Wasabi. Female, Asian cross-breed, living one block further. She is quiet and greets Beau with dignity whenever they meet.
